Our 14 div 1 team played Putney Rangers today and went down 0 - 2. It was a mighty performance from our boys who had their real first trial match after only a couple of weeks of training.
Putney are a well drilled team who have been together since mid January and have already had many trial matches and many weeks of training so our lads performed very well.
We have many new players to the team and all are fitting in nicely and will be a good season.
Man of the match today was split between Dan and Connor - well done boys!

The CHU 14/1's took on Pendle Hill Tigers who we always have very tough matches against.
Game score was 0 - 0 and a fair result.
Our team worked very hard today and all players can be proud of their efforts and committment. With virtually an entire new team, the boys continue to improve each week and show great potential.
Man of the match was James who had a sensational games playing sweeper.
Well done boys!

Update on our 14/1's
Round 2 v Kellyville - 3 - 1 win. Tough encounter but our team came through.
Round 3 v Auburn - 0 - 3 loss. This was the Grand Final replay from last season. Nil all at half time and our lads lacked effort in the second hald and Auburn closed the game out.
Round 4 v Rams - 1 - 0 win. This was an intense game with both teams competing for the full 60 minutes. Our effort was great this match and proved the difference.
Round 5 v Parra City - 0 - 1 loss. A mighty performance from our team and a fairer result would have been a draw. We conceeded in the last couple of minnutes of what was a great match. Parra City are the only team in this comp who actually have a stronger team than they had last season and are favourites for the title. Our boys can be bery proud of their performance in this match.

Round 6
14 div 1 v Stanes 0 nil 2
Dissapointing performance from our team, a game they should have won if there was more effort.
State Cup Round 2
Versus West Ryde Rovers
Mighty performace from our team and we battled for the full match playing some great football. I thought we slightly had the upper hand but as so often happens in football, one mistake with a minute or two to go and went down 1 nil. A great performance though!
Round 7 14 div 1 CHU 2 - Baulko 1
Not the prettiest of matches but after a scrappy first half, pleasing to see our lads lift in the second half with much better attacking play and some very close misses. ;D
Man of the match Adam G who scored a cracker and played with 100% intensity the full match.

Round 8 Tigers 0 v CHU 4
This match was a tense tussle as usual between these two teams but when the first goal came in the second half it lifted the Green Machine and the goals started to come which was a good reward for our lads.

Round 9 - 14 div 1
Auburn 1 - CHU 1
A mighty performance from our boys against the League Winners from last season and current competition leaders.
We led the match 1 nil from about the fifth minute until a few minutes left on the clock and should have won the match.
Awsome effort from the mighty Green Machine!
