Round 17 CHU 13 div 1 Black 7 v Baulkho 1
Great first half performance from the boys leading 5 - 0 at half time.
They unfortunately took their foot off the pedal in the second half and will need to lift the intensity moving into the semi finals.
Heard the 13 div 1 whites lost 0 - 2 to the Minor Premiers Auburn which was a great effort - well done whites!

Poor form from Guildford County yesterday in the 13 div 1 comp. They failed to show for their match but did not bother to advise the club they were forfeiting.

Grand Final in the 13 div 1 comp - CHU 3 - Auburn 2
A sensational game of football with CHU winning 3 - 2 in golden goal time.
Our boys were a little flat in the first half and were not keeping the ball with Auburn playing some good football and missing a couple of opportunities.
After a half time rev up and visit from a special player our players lifted the intensity, started to keep the ball and played good football. After telling the players at half time not to give any free kicks away, we did just that and not to far out from the box which led to an Auburn goal. the second half the momentum of the game was shifting our way but Auburn scored a good second goal and led 2 nil with about 7 - 8 minutes to go.
Our boys lifted the intensity again and were now playing sensational football and you could feel a goal or two coming. With about 7 minutes on the clock our lads scored a great goal and were now pumped to go on with it. Auburn were making sub's almost every minute and with about 1 minute on the clock our second goal came. Not long after, Full time 2 all.
Our boys came running off the field and were keen to get back on and finish the match and it appeared Auburn were out on their feet.
CHU scored the winning goal in the first half of GG to seal the Grand Final.
Our boys were inspired at half time with a visit from our very ill player Scott who managed to get a leave pass from Hospital and encouraged the boys on at half time.
Thanks for coming Scott!
Our players should be very proud of their efforts this season, we have had many hurdles to jump from serious illness and injuries and to be semi finalists in the State Cup and Grand Champions is outstanding.
Congratulations again to Auburn for winning the league and we wish you success in the CoC - go Granville!
