Don't forget our Castlehaven U9 Gala Day scheduled for Sunday the 7th August. We have 30 teams from across 11 associations participating and should be a great day.
We will need help so if you can lend a hand, please let us know!

In season 2012 our U10's will be playing small sided football on a slightly larger field than what we are currently playing on, more than likely a 3/4 field and the format will be 9v9.

Castle Hill United would like to thank all those teams that participated in yesterday's innaugaral U9 Castlehaven Cup.
There were thirty teams particpate from across eleven different associations and the day went perfectly to plan thanks to our great volunteers who we could not of made this a success without their generous help.
All teams played a minimum of four pool matches with eight teams progressing to the quarter finals.
The quater final teams were Maccabi Tigers, Maccabi Lions, Kenthurst, All Saintes Oatley, Manly Allambie Jets, Marrickville, CHU Red Black and CHU Red Red.
The final was played between Marickville and All Saints Oatley with the game tied at 1 all at full time then same after golden goal with Marickville winning on corners 7 - 4.
All teams received laminated certificates, semi finalists received medals and the finalists received trophies with a large new Castlehaven Cup trophy going to the winner.
The talent on display was exceptional and certainly shows how popular SSF is and how it is improving the skill level of players.
The best part about the day was to simply see the kids having a ball and we will be making this Gala Day an annual event.
A great win for football and our club!
